Breast Lift

As a women ages, she may become unhappy with the appearance of her breasts which have sagged as a result of pregnancy, weight loss or other factors. A breast lift can restore the shape and contour of your breasts, helping you to look better in clothing and feel more confident about your appearance.

The procedure is performed by restoring the nipple and areola (the pink skin surrounding the nipple) to a higher position, restoring the breast tissue to a higher level, removing excess skin from the lower portion of the breast and then reshaping the remaining breast skin. A variety of incision patterns are possible, depending on the correction needed. In most cases, using any of these breast lift techniques, breast and nipple sensation can be preserved.

It is possible to lift your breasts and increase their size in the same procedure, using saline-filled breast implants (see Breast Augmentation).
